Rediscoveries: Old & New Music Of Ireland

Joanne Quigley McParland (violin) and David Quigley (piano) perform violin and piano arrangements of music from their native Ireland. Featured are perennial favourites in imaginative versions – The Derry Air, The Star of the County Down, The Lark in the Clear Air, Molly on the Shore and many more. Substantial works by Charles Stanford, Charles Wood, Guido Papini, Percy Grainger and Fritz Kreisler are also included, as are more contemporary pieces, such as Philip Martin’s Mollyfication and Martin’s Lament.
